Consciousness is… an integral “part” of the Soul
“Das Bewusstsein kann nie etwas Andres sein als das bewusste Sein, und das Sein der Menschen ist ihr wirklicher Lebensprozeß.”
“Consciousness can never be anything other than conscious being, and the being of men is the real process of their life.”
K. Marx and F. Engels (Die deutsche Ideologie. Marx/Engels, Marx-Engels-Werke (MEW) 3, S. 26, 1846/1932)
1. The population of human beings of modern anatomy, i.e. neoanthropes (Dr.-Greek νέος – new and ἄνθρωπος – man), now inhabiting the planet Earth, are called humans. A single representative of human beings is called a human being. The totality of all people both previously deceased and currently living on planet Earth is called humanity. The representatives of mankind, in a broad sense, are all living people, as well as Nicolaus Copernicus, and Nikola Tesla, and many other people who lived and created on the planet Earth earlier.
2. Human being conditionally consists of two interconnected “parts” – a unique Body (a “part” of human flesh manifested by the subject) and a unique Personality (a “part” of human Soul manifested by the subject), as well as a multitude of other conditionally “visible” (perceptible) and conditionally “invisible” (not perceptible) Subject Beings and Entities, who chose for their bodies as a dwelling place the flesh of human being and incarnated in it with the purpose of realization of their own tasks and desires.
3. Human personalities cognize the Universe by the method of its manifestation. Manifestation is a cognitive process in which information about the states of any fragments of the Universe is cognized by the Personality in the form of sensations and then displayed by it in the form of objects, processes or phenomena, thus forming its subjective picture of the Universe (its virtual reality). In the process of cognition, implicit information about the Universe becomes explicit information (manifestation) for the Personality. This process is called manifestation, as it is very similar to the manifestation of an image on a photographic film or the manifestation of an image when printing photographs (it is well remembered by the representatives of the older generation). By making more and more efforts to manifest a fragment of the Universe, the Human Personality learns the essence of what it manifests in more and more detail.
4. All that is included in the “composition” of the “content” of the Universe and determines all its properties is the “material” content. Accordingly, all objects that the subject is capable of manifesting are initially material and represent exclusively different forms of matter. Accordingly, the use of the terms “material” and “immaterial” to describe objects is inappropriate because it introduces confusion into terminology. Despite this, modern researchers often use the term “material” to characterize objects whose localization in physical space is possible, and the term “immaterial” to characterize objects whose localization in physical space is impossible.
5. «In the universe there are only atoms and emptiness. Nature has not created anything white, black, bitter, sweet, loud or wet. There is only the subject’s personal opinion about the cognizable object, which is based solely on his sensations…» Democritus of Abdera (Δημόκριτος; c. 460 BC, Abdera – c. 370 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher, one of the founders of materialist philosophy, who argued roughly as early as Democritus of Abdera (Δημόκριτος; c. 460 BC, Abdera – c. 370 BC).
6. Human personality forms its sensations by means of the flesh of the human being, and further interprets (interprets) them as white, red, bitter, sweet, loud, or wet….
7. Wishing to cognize something, the Human Personality preliminarily carries out the process of objectification, declaring some fragment of the Universe as a separate object. Successful realization of this process is possible only if a human being through his “cognition slit” manifests some flesh, which has for him a “visible” (perceptible) “interface” formed by the difference in the degree of matter density of the cognized fragment of the Universe in comparison with the density of matter of the environment surrounding it.
8. Environment is everything that “surrounds” a human being and has significance and meaning for him. It is a space that has, from the subject’s point of view, unique physical properties and is manifested by him in the form of an integral structure with a clearly manifested by him interface with other environments.
9. Every object in the Universe initially contains information about itself, i.e. everything on the basis of which a human being is able to characterize it. Absolutely all objects in the Universe, from “elementary particles” to the largest star clusters, from bacteria to human beings, from all kinds of radiations to the creations of human hands, are carriers of the most diverse information about their origin, activity, evolution, “life path”, current state, etc. in the most minute details. Information is a potential “source of information” and can tell a lot to anyone who is able to “manifest” and “read” this information. Information does not exist on its own; it does not exist outside of its carriers. By default, information is unknown and unknowable to a person, but it is a potential “source of information” for him. Information is material, as it is an integral part of objects as fragments of the Universe manifested by the subject.
10. The human personality characterizes (describes, outlines, qualifies, characterizes, characterizes, reveals characteristic features and peculiarities) objects on the basis of information manifested by it. Characterizing objects, a person reveals and describes characteristic features and peculiarities of cognizable objects. And characterization of something is given, as a rule, with application of any physical parameters used in scientific research at the current moment of time. Such physical parameters can be, for example, the size and shape of the surface, temperature, speed of movement, humidity, chemical composition and so on. Such psychological parameters, for example, may be temperament, character, behavioral pattern, personality type, personality traits, mental and psychological health of the individual, and so on.
Personality is… one of the main manifestations of the Soul
Within the framework of modern science the term Soul is not applied, as scientists are not able to “see” the Soul and, accordingly, to measure any of its physical parameters.
But, a person is able to manifest different states of the Soul, considering the results from different points of view.
For naming different aspects of the Soul people apply many terms, the most frequently used of which are Personality, “Self”, Persona, Core essence:
-
Personality is a term that is applied when it is necessary to emphasize the fact that the Soul of a being is able to manifest as a system of socially significant stable features of this being, i.e., as a set of its abilities, character, temperament, experience, skills, knowledge, which are formed by the Soul during the life cycle of the being and refracted through its personal experiences and outlook, through its attitude to itself and to the objects of the Universe;
-
“Self” – a term that is applied when it is necessary to emphasize the fact that some flesh (an animated fragment of matter), has realized itself and is in constant contact with the surrounding world through its perception;
-
Person – a term that is used when it is necessary to emphasize the fact of the significance of the social role played by a Person in a particular social environment;
-
Core Essence – a term that is applied when it is necessary to emphasize the fact that all the resources of a being are managed by Soul, which organizes their interaction with other objects of the Universe.
-
Etc.
The number of aspects of the Soul is not limited in any way and depends solely on the abilities of the subject.
A Human Being is … Interpretation of the term
This article is a compilation and refinement of material I have previously published.
I had a dream:
A Martian accidentally stumbled upon the rover Curiosity, created by employees of Boeing and Lockheed Martin, which was moving across the surface of Mars, and decided to thoroughly examine the object he found.
Disassembling the rover “down to the last screw” and studying all its components in detail, the Martian made the following conclusions:
- The object is an automaton that operates according to a strictly defined algorithm stored inside the device and very similar to an operating system in its functionality. It is the operating system that controls all the resources of the object.
- The object explores the planet Mars and constantly systematizes the information obtained in this process, forming its knowledge and life experience based on this, i.e., its consciousness. The volume of systematized information is very small because it is stored on media of limited capacity inside the object.
- The object is, hypothetically, a robot that can be compared in development to a primitive creature…
But after assembling all the details together, the object found on the planet’s surface turns into a very intelligent, highly developed being, which has quite extensive knowledge and life experience, which did not correspond to its internal structure and far exceeded the theoretical capabilities of the components that made up the object’s body.
The Martian could not understand that the rover has a controlling entity that performs many functions of the operating system and the rover itself is a tool in the hands of the controlling entity. As a result, the consciousness of the controlling entity becomes the consciousness of the rover for a certain period of time and represents a collection of knowledge and life experience of many highly developed beings. During these moments, the rover’s modules become the hands, feet, eyes, ears, nose, brain… of specialists from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) NASA, who are physically located in Pasadena, California, USA, on planet Earth. And the rover itself during these moments is nothing more than an embodiment of this cohesive team of specialists. It is worth noting that only the Operating System constantly “resided” in the rover, while all other objects, such as Creators, Administrators, Operators, and Users, could either be present or absent, or simply periodically replace each other.
Unaware of the nature of what was happening, during his interaction (communication) with the rover, the Martian actually communicated with various entities — with the Creators of the rover, with the Administrators of the Control Center, with the Operators of the rover, with the Users of the rover, or even with the Operating System of the rover…
In learning about humans, that is, studying themselves, people differ very little from the Martian described above.
When I woke up, I thought:
A human being can be conceptualized as an entity consisting of two interconnected “parts” – a unique Body (the manifested aspect of a person’s flesh) and a unique Personality (the manifested aspect of a person’s Soul). The essence that governs all the resources of a human being and organizes their interaction with the objects of the Universe, ensuring the stable functioning of the human as a unified system, has long been called the Soul by people.
By default, the Soul reflects the intentions of Nature through itself, but in some rare cases, it can reflect the intentions of a certain controlling entity through itself, which is capable of acting as its operator.
“The soul uses the body as an instrument, and the soul itself is an instrument of God. The virtue of every instrument is to manifest the thoughts of the user through itself. But an instrument cannot show the thought of the creator pure and unharmed, but it also adds something of itself in the transmission. So too the soul, using the body as an instrument, transmits through it the intelligible forms, but not in a pure form, but also adding something of itself, and this “added” is nothing other than its own movement.” Plotinus (205-270 AD), Roman philosopher, Treatise “On the Soul.”
- looking with the eyes of the flesh;
- listening to sounds with the ears of flesh;
- smelling odors with the nose of flesh;
- tasting flavors with the mouth of the flesh;
- creating new objects with the hands of flesh;
- moving around on planet Earth with the feet of flesh;
- etc.
Conclusions:
1. A Human Being is the instrument of the Soul, which reflects through itself the intentions of Nature or the intentions of its Operator. It represents an object created by Nature, conditionally consisting of two interconnected “parts” – a unique Body (a “part” of human flesh manifested by the subject) and a unique Personality (a “part” of human Soul manifested by the subject), and also a multitude of other conditionally “visible” (perceptible) and conditionally “invisible” (not perceptible) by the subject Beings and Entities, who chose the flesh of a human being for their bodies as a dwelling place and incarnated into it for the purpose of realization of their own tasks and desires.
2. A Human Being is the “face” (personification) of their Soul.
3. Any flesh can be a home for many Beings (micro- and macro-organisms) or Entities of the Universe. These Beings or Entities can incarnate into the flesh and leave it at any moment of time.
4. Any flesh can serve as an embodiment for any Essence that is able to take complete control of the flesh of the being by partially intercepting the control functions from the Soul. As a result of such an interaction, the entity provides them with its flesh to carry out their activities in the Universe. Such Entities are called controlling entities because they fulfill the role of the operator of the Being. The controlling entity is able to “leave” the flesh (“break” the connection with it) at its will at any moment of time.
Soul is… Interpretation of the term
1. Everything that exists is called Being.
2. Everything that constitutes the “content” of being and determines all its properties is called matter. Matter is one! However, it is hypothetically possible to suppose that there are a multitude of forms of being of matter, and an infinite multitude of forms of manifestation of matter, since the instruments used by subjects for manifestation (the brain of observers, used devices, etc.) are different.
«The Universe consists of a single entity, which I call matter. This is unity, or monism.»
Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, “My Philosophy“, 1932
3. Being in all the variety of its manifestations is initially incomprehensible to people. Everything that is within the reach of human cognition in Being will be called the term Universe.
4. Almost everything that was created in the Universe, including man himself, was created not by people, but by someone else. People call this creator by name – Nature. People often replace the term Nature with other words-concepts, the use of which is always associated exclusively with their worldview, i.e. believers – in their own way, atheists – in their own way, philosophers – in their own way… Synonyms for the term Nature include many other words: Creator, Maker, God, etc. People created “with their own mind” and with their own hands. an insignificant part of the objects in the Universe.
5. Wishing to cognize something, a person preliminarily carries out the process of objectification, declaring some fragment of the Universe as a separate object. Successful realization of this process is possible only if a man through his “cognition slit” manifests a certain flesh, which has for him a “visible” (perceptible) “interface” formed by the difference in the degree of matter density of the cognized fragment of the Universe in comparison with the density of matter of its environment.
6. Many fragments of the Universe that have undergone the process of objectification are objects with bodies consisting of matter – a physical substance with a specific chemical composition, i.e. consisting of elements that are codified in the current version of the periodic table of chemical elements (Mendeleev’s table).
7. People call manifested flesh body.
8. There are no bodiless or incorporeal objects in the Universe! “Bodiless” objects simply cannot be distinguished by the subject from the environment around them. If the subject is able to reason about an object, then this definitely means that the subject was able to manifest the flesh (body) of the cognized object.
«The word “incorporeality” is not clear to me or to science yet. When incorporeal beings are discovered, then we will talk about them. After all, we agreed to talk only about the undeniable.» Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, «Disputes about Monism».
9. All bodies in the Universe are created by the will of Nature, and not by themselves. Bodies that are created by people or other beings are created on the basis of flesh that was previously created by Nature.
10. The role of the “organizer of matter” initially belongs to Nature. All bodies in the Universe are initially “organized” by Nature and have a pre-installed mechanism for managing the resources of the flesh and for organizing its interaction with other objects of the Universe. This mechanism is an integral “part” of organized matter and is similar in its functionality to the concept of “operating system”, which is used by people in relation to computing systems. The mechanism used by Nature to control the flesh has been called the Soul since ancient times.
11. In case of decreased interconnection with the Soul, the flesh “loses” access to consciousness, the functioning of the flesh becomes unstable, the interaction of the flesh with the objects of the Universe becomes more complicated…..
Conclusions:
1. The Soul is an integral “part” of any flesh (organized matter), which performs the role of its “operating system”, providing stable functioning of the flesh from external influences, managing all its resources and organizing its interaction with the objects of the Universe.
2. All that Human being is capable of cognizing and all that Human being is capable of reasoning about has its Soul.
3. The device of the Flesh potentially determines the totality of the Soul’s capabilities:
-
The Flesh, which consists of simple substances, assumes the absence of nervous system in the flesh and allows the Soul to realize the minimum of its possibilities, i.e. the subject shows in the object cognized by it: complete absence or weak development of consciousness, complete absence or rudimentary development of mental abilities, absence of emotions, absence of will, etc.;
-
The Flesh, which consists of complex organic compounds of substances, presupposes the presence of nervous system in flesh and allows the Soul to realize many of its possibilities, i.e. the subject shows in the object he cognizes: developed consciousness with a significant amount of content, complex mental abilities, presence of emotions, presence of limited will, etc.
4. Accordingly:
-
As far as the Flesh is diverse in its complexity, so correspondingly diverse are their Souls in their capacities and abilities;
-
As far as the Flesh is developed, so potentially can their Souls be developed in their capacities and abilities.
5. Every flesh in the Universe is a primary active and systematizing factor, a potential carrier of consciousness, i.e. spiritual abilities.
